Bedroom available on first floor with queen bed. New linens. Shared kitchen and 1st floor bathroom. Laid back living. Very quiet, out of the city. 5 minutes to Smithville Lake, golf courses, and local winery Shared bathroom on the main floor. Access to kitchen, My place is more appropriate for the laid-back person, that doesn't have to have everything locked up tight. The house is 150 year old farmhouse in country side setting. The space Quiet Living:Right Outside the Smithville city limits in the country. But close to the highway and within 20 minutes of Kansas City, Power and Light District, the airport etc’ n much more. 5 minutes from local winery: Ladoga Ridge Winery. (talk about views! ) The house was built in 1880, and is located on 2 acres with a Private bedroom off the main floor living room. Enjoy a quiet county nights sleep. If you are into modern living quarters -this is not for you. There is a lot of character in an old house and by all means is not perfect. There are a certain amount of quirks and cracks! We live here and work. We come and go. You are more than welcome to interact as much as you want or as little. I’ll follow your cues. Our guests have included airport personnel getting a few hours of sleep before having to jet out-to long term guests visiting from Scotland. Smithville Lake is nearby if you enjoy water for kayaking or paddle boarding or trails for hiking or biking. Multiple Golf Courses in the area. Don’t make the long drive home after your golf tournament!! Stay here. The bedroom has a queen size bed with new linens. There is a couch for 3rd person or child. There is room on the floor for twin size Blow up mattress. Just ask. I can provide. Guest access The living area and kitchen: U have access to these public spaces and must walk thru them to get to the main level guest room. Main level bathroom with shower. No private bathroom. Shared bathroom. But can make arrangements to accommodate your travel schedule. Can use kitchen for cooking. Fridge for storing food/beverages. There is a microwave, stove and oven. Coffee maker available. No coffee tho. During your stay We live in the home. So We are in and out of the home with work. Other things to note This is a unique beautiful 2 story old farmhouse with original hardwood floors, woodwork and doors. Most old doors do not have locking mechanisms. Must be open to more of a relaxed type of lifestyle. It's not a flop house- but if you are used to Fort Knox- this is not for you!! Guest bedroom & bathroom is on 1st main floor. Shared with my son, but we can make arrangements to stay out of your way if I know your itinerary.
