Padre’s House in Arkadelphia

A warm, cozy house open to caring people coming to visit or work in the Arkadelphia area or just passing by on the interstate. We are located just minutes to both HSU and OBU campuses. There is easy access to Interstate 30 Exit 73. Save time to relax in everyone’s favorite room - the sunporch. Come visit and we’ll tell you about Padre. The space Kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils for meal prep. Table setting of glass dishes are available as well as paper products. Coffee, tea, and sweeteners provided. Extra linens, small fans, and portable heaters are stored in bedroom closets. Guest access Guests may access front portion of pantry. Broom, dustpan, mop, iron and ironing board, card table, and extra chairs, trash bags and limited cleaning supplies are here. Back portion is the owner’s section. A regular coffee pot and popcorn popper are in the kitchen. Additional appliances such as a Keurig are in the dining room armoire. Stackable washer & dryer are on the sun porch. Detergent is in the wicker chest. A drying rack is available and can be set up. Guests are invited to relax in the colorful hammock; weather permitting for it to be set up. Additional off-street parking available for boat or vehicles located on south end of house in the driveway in front of the shop/barn. Other things to note Check out instructions are on the refrigerator. Leave the beds unmade and towels in the bathroom tub. Wash and put away dishes. Carry out trash and place in black trash can by the deck. Put the key back in the lockbox. Other helpful information is on the refrigerator, listed room by room. Guests may have up to two pets. If pets are in the house alone, we ask they be kept in kennels. Please clean up the yard after your pets do their necessary business. Note the yard is not completely fenced in; only a portion is fenced.
