Set on one acre of protected oak woodlands, the house features an expansive outdoor deck for enjoying the broad views toward the Malibu hills and some of the best sunsets ever. The open floor plan living area provides perfect space for gathering with family and friends. Our large home in the beautiful Canyon is a perfect base for exploring Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Malibu and the rest of southern California. Topanga State Park, a 3-minute walk away, is America's largest urban wildland and part of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, with miles of trails where you can see deer, coyotes, bobcats, hawks and other wildlife. Our farm-like property features gardens, a chicken coop and a friendly pig named Henri. The house features everything you could want — including an expansive master suite with a spa bathroom, heated floors, steam shower and stand-alone tub looking out into the woods. A beautiful scenic 3-mile drive delivers you to the Pacific Ocean and Topanga Beach. Limited availability of owners, but local helpers and caretakers available for any problems. Eclectic Topanga Canyon is known as a haven for artist and musicians, and is set in one of the most beautiful coastal mountain ranges in California, nestled between Malibu and Santa Monica, and a short drive from the rest of Los Angeles. The town features coffee spots, restaurants, shops and a general store. Public transportation is limited, although a beach bus runs from the town center (half a mile away) to Malibu and Santa Monica. The state park is a short walk away. Malibu and Santa Monica are both approximately 10-15 minutes drive, with Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Venice and downtown Los Angeles all 30-40 minutes away.
