The space The home provides ample space for 4 guests and offers 2 bedrooms (1 queen & 1 full) with comfortable memory foam mattresses and fine linens. Guests will find the home stocked with all the necessary supplies including towels, bedding, and kitchen basics as well as soap & shampoo, and toilet paper. Groceries can be obtained at the nearby independent grocery markets or health food co-op. Large box stores are just 15 minutes away. Enjoy the local sites and activities or spend the day relaxing by the beautiful in-ground saline pool during summer months. Guests can soak in the outdoor hot tub year-round then snuggle up near the indoor fireplace or stay outside to take advantage of the spacious yard, patio, hammock and fire pit. Gather together and create a delicious meal in the large kitchen with professional 6-burner gas range or bbq outside on the gas grill. Dine in or out on the deck. Want to dine out? Great restaurants are 5 to 20 minutes away. Most offer takeout; some delivery. Guest access While some guests have managed to visit using public transportation (Adirondack Trailways stop is 5 minutes drive and taxi service is available) a car is recommended. The home is nestled on a hilltop of a lovely wooded 6 acre lot. The house is set far from the road. In the event of winter weather, an all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended or guests should be prepared to park in the lower field and walk up the hill to the house. Other things to note For safety reasons, we choose not to rent to families with young children (ages 2-9.) The home's basement is unoccupied, but not accessible to guests. This space is used for our personal storage. Unfortunately this means guests will not have access to the washer & dryer. A laundromat is located in nearby Rosendale. The hot tub runs year round. The pool is typically open May-September, dependent on the weather.
