The space Carndonagh House is a charming 1,000 sq. ft. home spread over two levels, designed for your comfort and relaxation. The two upstairs bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished for you in a cozy farmhouse style, creating your welcoming retreat. The main level features a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious great room with a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, free WiFi, and a fireplace—perfect for unwinding after your day of exploration. Step onto the front porch, wrap your hands around a warm mug of morning coffee, and savor it alongside one of our freshly baked, handcrafted scones. As the day begins, the gentle sounds of nature set the tone—perhaps the rustle of deer in the distance, squirrels darting through the trees, or our neighbor’s rooster cheerfully greeting the morning. Wildlife often wanders through the property, so you might spot foxes, raccoons, or even our friendly Carndonagh chickens making a curious visit. As evening settles in after a day at the beach, return to the porch with a glass of wine and enjoy the peaceful glow of sunset. In winter, a bubbling seasonal creek winds its way through the park-like grounds, its soft, flowing sound adding to the calm, storybook charm of the space. For a quieter moment, slip away to the private backyard sitting area—a cozy nook perfect for curling up with a good book, reflecting on the day, or simply relaxing with a glass of wine beneath the open sky. Conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Atascadero, Carndonagh House offers you easy access to the Sunken Gardens, wine bars, a movie theater, boutique shopping, craft breweries, and fantastic restaurants. It’s also perfectly situated between Paso Robles’ renowned wineries (15 minutes north) and the stunning central coast beaches (20 minutes southwest). We live nearby on the same oak-studded property and are happy to assist you if needed while ensuring you have the privacy to enjoy your stay. Additional Details: • A $25 per night fee applies for extra guests beyond the first two (Airbnb will calculate this automatically at booking). • Maximum occupancy: 4 guests. • A well-stocked coffee station awaits you, featuring a Keurig with assorted pods, a French press, a coffee grinder, and both regular and decaf beans.
