We are located in South Boulder next to the Table Mesa shopping center in a quiet neighborhood where you will meet many locals jogging, biking, hiking, walking their dog or just out for a stroll. We are 2 miles from Colorado University and 3.4 miles from the Pearl Street Mall. The Pearl Street mall is said to be the most well known pedestrian mall in the world. Stroll along the mall and enjoy a great selection of restaurants, bookstores, boutiques and sidewalk cafes. Also popular are the seasonal art shows, craft fairs, musical presentations and street performers who entertain enthusiastic crowds with their antics. Let Bongo the Balloon Man make an animal creation out of his colorful supply of balloons. Pearl Street is famous for its talented buskers, challenge the Zip Code Man to guess your hometown just by telling him you zip, or watch the unusually flexible contortionist fold his body into a small box. Rumor has it that Cheryl Crow and Jewel performed on Pearl street before they became famous. June, July and August there is a wonderful concert every Wednesday night on The Pearl Street called Band On The Bricks, where you can picnic on the lawn and enjoy great music. Rent a bike from BCycle for just 8.00 a day and ride straight down Broadway on the bike path to the Shakespeare Festival at CU or ride little further (and burn more calories) to The Pearl Street Mall to dine on a healthy organic meal on the patio of one of the many famous restaurants on Pearl Street. If you want to stick closer to home a quick 5 minute walk will get you to the Table Mesa Shopping Center where you will find, amongst other things, a grocery store, liquor store, yoga studio, sandwich shop, coffeeshop, bagel shop, Pharmica, gluten free bakery, micro-brewery, bike shop, running shop and several local restaurants. There are numerous hiking trails within walking distance that wind around the majestic Flatirons with breathtaking views. You can stay right in the neighborhood for your entire visit and be very happy, we are close to the bus line and BCycle if you choose to venture out. We are 2.3 miles from 29th St. Mall. The Twenty Ninth Street Mall is another outdoors walking mall where you will find even more shopping like Nordstrom Rack, Apple, Anthropology, JJill, LuluLemon, North Face and other quality retail shops. We have a list of our favorite trails, restaurants and things to do waiting for you for your convenience. We are so proud of Boulder and want all of our guests to get the best out of their stay in our beautiful little town. Boulder is very conscious of our environment and offers a bike share program with 38 bike stations and 250 bikes. The closest bike station is approximately a 10 minute walk from the house. Boulder also has a car share program. We are a short walk to multiple bus stops, the closest being across the street. Boulder is a very easy transit system and it is simple to get around by bus. The skip will take you straight to Colorado University and Pearl Street. The perfect home for a large family or group. The feedback we get from many guest is that they love the spaciousness of the home and they always mention the backyard. The backyard is the hub of our home in the summers. We have a large Oak tree that shades 3/4 of the yard, comfortable outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the flatirons. The large family room and living room allow for comfortable socializing. While some guests watch TV in the family room, the other guests can sit by the fire in the living room and share a nice conversation.
