Algonquin Nipissing Cottage

The Algonquin Nipissing Cottage is located on Kawawaymog Lake at Algonquin Park's northwest corner. The Cottage is a private cottage for a large group or multiple families who like to vacation together in a beautiful outdoor environment. With over 650 feet of shoreline, a main cottage, 2 chalet suites, docks, decks, a gazebo, a lakeside outdoor fire pit, and a floating sauna, - the Algonquin Cottage Outpost was designed for large groups who love to play in or by the water! Canoe into the sunrise to look for moose on the Amable du Fond river. Swim to the floating sauna and heat up before plunging into the clean, fresh water. Fish for bass or trout, and relax on the dock or in front of the fireplace or campfire. Watch the kids play soccer or toss a ball while you sit on the cottage deck with a fabulous view of the lake. Consider an overnight adventure into Algonquin Park. The Nipissing Cottage is solar-powered and completely off-grid. The power supply is for lights, and water pumps, and the fridge. Our stove and oven are propane fueled. Xplorenet Satellite Wifi is available for an additional charge. Please bring portable battery packs for recharging. We can also charge select devices at our Outfitter- 1 minute's drive from the Nipissing Cottage. Our properties have earned a silver sustainability rating through @GreenStep. We ask that appliances ie hair dryers etc not be plugged in. CANOES, KAYAKS, SUP, FISHING and GUIDE EXCURSIONS The Algonquin Cottage Outpost comes with two canoes, 6 paddles, and pfds. Additional canoes, kayaks, sup, fishing rods/equipment can be rented from our outfitter located where you check in just a few minutes up the road.
