Even though the water is low this year, there is still plenty of lake to enjoy! This Lake Front Vacation Rental on Lake Shasta was acquired in 2008. We completely renovated our home in 2017 complete with new flooring throughout, new windows new cabinets, new appliances and a new AC unit. This really is an exquisite retreat! The house is a spacious 2,300 s.f. family vacation rental on a third of an acre lot, with a game room in the garage and an on-site (off the street) parking. This resort house is located in the quaint community of Lakehead and backs to Shasta Trinity National Forest Land with a private gate to the Forest Service trail directly to the Lake. There is nothing between you and the Lake except your desire to get there! Large shaded private deck looks directly into the forest and the lake cove behind the property. Patio area is set up for outdoor meals or relaxing with table, chairs, and both a charcoal and gas barbeque. You can tie your boat to the shore or rent a slip at the local resorts. Don’t have a boat? There are plenty of reasonable rentals for everything from jet-skis, ski boats, fishing boats and patio boats are available locally. Don’t want a boat? Responsible renters must be at least 25 years old and present on the property during the rental period. Well behaved dogs are welcome with an additional deposit (leash laws are enforced in the community). This is a Non-smoking house but there are designated areas to smoke outside.
