Powell Cabin Inside Turner Falls Park

This cozy (non-smoking) 1-bed/1-bath cabin at Turner Falls Park accommodates up to 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids). If you need more space or plan to host a party, please look elsewhere. The cabin is fully furnished and steps from picnicking, swimming, and the Falls. *Important Turner Falls Rules:* * Tickets required for all guests daily, including check-in/check-out days. * No re-entry after 10pm. * No pets. * Respond to all host messages. The space **PLEASE READ ENTIRELY FOR IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS (including those specific to Turner Falls Park)** This cabin has been a family treasure for generations, and we want all guests to enjoy their stay while respecting the property. The cabin accommodates up to 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids) and includes a fully equipped 1-bed/1-bath space with a screened porch and sunroom. Guests have access to the entire cabin, including the washer/dryer (no dishwasher). **Property Details:** * The grounds are heavily landscaped with a tree canopy. The backyard is under renovation and not accessible, but you’re welcome to enjoy the small back patio. * Due to fire risks, we don’t provide grills. However, there are park grills available—ask park staff for more info. **House Rules:** **NO PARTIES** – Maximum 4 guests; this property is not suitable for larger groups. **NO PETS** – Per City ordinance, pets aren’t allowed in Turner Falls Park. **NO SMOKING** – Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin. **NO WIFI/CATV** – Due to the cabin’s location, there’s no internet or cable. Local channels may be available via antenna. Cell service may be spotty and slower during peak seasons. **Important Turner Falls Park Rules** (must be followed): **Entry tickets required** Every guest needs an entry ticket for each day in the park (including check-in and check-out days). Get tickets **online** before arrival or you may be unable to enter the park. **Arrive before 10:00 p.m.** The park gates close at 10:00 p.m. and entry will not be allowed after that time. **No Pets** Pets are not allowed in the park or the cabin. **Check Turner Falls Park website** for all additional park rules and regulations. **Checkout Instructions** Checkout is at **11:00 a.m. Please: * Put all dirty linens and towels in the hamper in the laundry room (use only what you need). * Wash and leave dishes in the drying rack under the kitchen sink. * Dispose of trash in the dumpster at the parking lot’s end. * Lock all doors and windows, and return keys to the lockbox. * Clean up any mess before leaving. A broom and dustpan are provided in the laundry room. Thank you for respecting these guidelines! Guest access Guests can access the entire cabin, including the back patio. Please note, the backyard is not accessible to guests while we make improvements. IMPORTANT- - PLEASE READ!! This cabin is located inside Turner Falls Park. We are required to follow their rules and regulations (see below): *Entry tickets to Turner Falls Park are required for every member of your party and for every day they are in the park. GET TICKETS ONLINE! Look up “Turner Falls Park” in your internet browser or contact the park offices for pricing. If you do not pre-purchase tickets and they sell out then you will not be able to enter the park. This means that you will not be able to access the cabin. *You must arrive BEFORE 10:00 p.m. The gates to the park close at 10:00 p.m. and entry will not be permitted after the gates are closed. This means you will not be able to access the cabin after 10:00 p.m. *Pets are not allowed inside the park and are therefore not allowed at the cabin. *Please check Turner Falls Park’s website for all the rules and regulations! Other things to note This cabin is located inside Turner Falls Park. The cabin can accommodate four people max (2 adults + 2 kids). If you need space for more people, or a place to have a party, do not book the cabin. It is a family home. **IMPORTANT!! Admission to the park is required to access the property. Please check Turner Falls Park's website (look up "Turner Falls Park" in your internet browser) to ensure entry tickets are available. I highly recommend booking the park tickets online to ensure you are able to enter the park. Everyone in your party will need a ticket for every day they are in the park. *Effective 6/2020: No re-entry with tickets. *Effective 4/2021: No entry after 10pm. We have a TV and DVD player with lots of movies, but there is no cable or internet service. There is a mobile hot spot but it can be slow since it runs on cell service. We also have a lot of games and puzzles. Please pay close attention to the weather (Zip Code 73030), particularly the rain, before and during your visit.
