Kick back on the porch of this cute and cozy cottage, right in the heart of Central Austin. Cottage sleeps up to 4 (king bed + queen sofa). Walkable to the best parts of Central and East Austin. You'll come home to a quiet respite amongst the trees and gardens. The welcoming interior offers a rustic, functional ambiance with retro touches. Guests experience comfort in every season with the mini-split cooling/heating system in each room. The space When you open the door of the cottage, you'll immediately step into the kitchen and living room space with a clean, restored-vintage design. The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking tools. Breakfast supplies include oatmeal, coffee, and tea. There is a fold-out dining table and a sleeper sofa which converts into a queen-size bed. When you step through the "portal" into the bedroom space, you'll pass by closet space on your right and the bathroom on your left. The large bedroom boasts a king bed, mirrored vanity, and dresser. Both the living room and bedroom have mini-splits with A/C and heat. The house is equipped with extra sheets, blankets, and pillows for the sleeper sofa. Guest access Guests have access to the yard and entire cottage. A parking pass will be waiting for you in the cottage when you arrive. It will allow you to park in front of the house and on any neighboring streets. (Parking is restricted in the neighborhood only to residents and their guests.) Other things to note Getting Around: Street parking is right in front of the house. A parking pass is provided. Franklin BBQ and East 11th street is 3 blocks away, with coffee shops, restaurants, a bakery, yoga, and boutiques. East 6th Street is also 3 blocks away, with food trucks, restaurants, and bars. The Convention Center is a 20-minute walk. UT’s football stadium is 30 minutes walking distance. The bus stop is 2 blocks away. Rental bikes are 3 blocks away. Light rail is a 10-minute walk.
