Settle into your own private miniature medieval castle at the Barbican Gatelodge, built in 1825. Travel up the spiral staircases and back in time for a perfect romantic hideaway in one of Ulster's oldest villages, Glenarm. The tower has a lovely rooftop terrace with uninterrupted views of Glenarm Castle and of the river flowing out to the sea. Situated perfectly on the Causeway Coastal Route and nestled in the Antrim Coast and Glens, The Barbican is the perfect hideaway for your journey. The space The first floor houses the bedroom and bathroom. Follow the spiral staircase up to the second floor where you will find a cosy living space that has two armchairs in front of a wood fire, a small kitchen, and a dining table for four. If you would like to enjoy your meal al fresco, follow the spiral staircase up one more level to eat on the roof terrace while enjoying views of the sea and of Glenarm Castle. Guest access Guests have full access to the property including a rooftop terrace that has a picnic table and views of the sea. This property is for adults only, as certain features are not suitable for children.
