Red Door Chalet

This vibrant chalet is the quintessential country retreat, with 55 private, wooded acres. Located 6 miles (15 minutes) from Jay Peak Resort, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps 8 comfortably. 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 4 single beds. Full kitchen. Deck for barbecuing. The Red Door Chalet is the perfect getaway to disconnect from the technological grind. This is an older cabin with old furniture and some creaky floors. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended for winter. The space ++Enter the home through a heated mudroom. The first floor consists of a living room, kitchen, full bathroom, washer/dryer, and spacious downstairs bedroom that has one king bed and two single beds. ++The kitchen has a large fridge, stove, oven, toaster, and coffee maker. There are plenty of cooking ware, pots, pans, and utensils to muster up a proper feast. ++There is a full master bedroom upstairs featuring a king bed with a beautiful view of the Vermont wilderness. Also upstairs is an additional bedroom with a cozy queen bed and a single bed also overlooking the forest. A full bathroom completes the upstairs. ++All linens, blankets, and towels are provided. Guest access The entire home and adjacent shed. Other things to note ++The RDC has Wi Fi. On a clear night there is excellent star gazing, especially after a few drinks! Board games, playing cards, and puzzles are provided for guests to enjoy. Enjoy each other's company like it is 1990! ++Please be aware that since the RDC is a digital free zone, there is spotty cell phone service. You may need to drive down the street a mile or so to get reception, but not usually. Be careful not to get on the Canadian cell towers as Canada is just two miles from the RDC.
