Many of the area’s newest and most compelling restaurants, shopping outlets, and theaters are within 5 minutes away. It is adjacent to Austin Bluffs Open Space and Pulpit Rock Park. Garden of the Gods is within visible 8 miles distance and nearest to Air Force Academy. Non-owner-occupied permit STR-0085. The space • Breathtaking views of Pikes Peak, Pulpit Rock, and Garden of the Gods. • Central location: Quick access to a variety of restaurants, shops, mall, and parks. • Retreating to a quiet, serene place while enjoying the city life minutes away. • Submerge in the indoor heated (90 F) pool while savoring the mountain views. • A/C throughout except swimming pool room. • Enjoying Southwestern style with a touch of contemporary. • Sleep accommodation up to 10. • Dedicated 50A/240V (NEMA 14-50R) and 20A/240V (NEMA 5-20) outlets available for electric vehicle (EV) -- proper adaptor(s) is required (guests must supply their own). Guest access The entire vacation home will be solely yours during your stay. Our property is great for hiking including our 2.4 acres of land and rock formations for you to explore. You may hike to Pulpit Rock directly from Hidden Gem if you are the adventure types. Hiking time is about 40 minutes depending on physical fitness [and a good sense of direction] by crossing unmarked paths, ravines, and rock formations to get there. This is an area with great glimpse of wildlife. Note, during winter season, in [rare] case of heavy snow, it is highly recommended that you travel in a high clearance and four-wheel drive capable vehicle with good winter tires in order to get through our paved but steep driveway. Otherwise, we would recommend parking the vehicles in the immediate cul-de-sac area. Other things to note We will send a soft-copy welcoming package prior to your arrival. Upon checking in, guests are required to sign pool waiver if they wish to use the pool. Guest(s) may be asked to perform or request host to assist with basic pool maintenance when stay is longer than 7 nights. Guests' safety is our #1 priority: • Our pool is safe per CDC: We use chlorine, pool shocks, and UV light to keep our pool germs free. • We provide hand sanitizer(s), disinfectant wipes, and latex gloves for our guests to use during their stays. • We have between 2-5 cleaners depending on group sizes to perform cleaning. • Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am out of respect for our distance neighbors.
