Welcome to the Oak St. Guest House! This 2 story single family home is just steps from local dining, including Journeyman's Distillery. Fully appointed, the home features a completely renovated kitchen, spacious dining room & living space. With 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, it is the perfect place for family celebrations or a home-away-from home for your entire wedding party. With a spacious backyard, fire-pit, and grill - the Oak St. Guest House is perfect start to your summer lake vacation! The 4 bedrooms consist of the following: Bedroom 1- downstairs, twin trundle day bed Bedroom 2 - upstairs, king bed & twin bed Bedroom 3 - upstairs, queen bed Bedroom 4- Full size bed, upstairs as well. *All beds will have clean linens and enough pillows for 2/person. The linens for the trundle day bed are located in the bottom drawer of the dresser in the room. There are sheets & pillows for the pull out sofa located in the closet of bedroom with the full-size bed. This home has not only 1 but TWO brand new bathrooms! Bath 1- downstairs, tub/shower combo, toilet & sink. Bath 2- upstairs, walk-in shower, toilet & sink. *Bathrooms both have towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo & conditioner. There is a hair dryer, baby bath & first aid kit located in the downstairs bathroom. Dining Room has enough seating for 8, with extra chairs for additional guests. Backyard has a lovely private deck, gas grill and patio set, while providing plenty of room for kids to run around and play in the grass. & even play a game of bags! You'll find a fire pit, with firewood supplied, and even a set of bags. A perk for those with little ones, we included a small play set located in the backyard! Kitchen is very large! Tons of room for multiple people to be in prepping & cooking during your stay with basic kitchen itemds for your use. The Laundry Room is off the kitchen, with all you need for longer stays. We have Comcast/Xfinity cable and TV. Insignia 50" Fire TV, with all the apps to stream your favorite shows! There are multiple locations throughout the house that you would be able to sit and work with a laptop. We’ve recently updated the HVAC system and now have central air on the second floor as well as the lower level of the home. We have always taken our cleaning procedures seriously but since COVID-19 has occured we have been taking extra measures to keep our homes clean and safe for our guests. We will provide soaps, hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies for your convenience. The entire home is available for your use excluding the basement, attic & main part of the garage. The back of the garage, accessible from the side closet to yard is stocked with firewood, beach chairs yard games, etc. this is accessible to our guests. You can store bikes or other outdoor belongings you may have brought with you in here. We are available 24/7 for any of your needs. Upon your check in, we will provide you with multiple numbers of contact shall you need anything during your stay. We are here to make our stay as relaxing and accommodating as possible! The Village of Three Oaks is one of those places that you'll never forget! From the quaint little shops to the delicious new pizzeria, "Patellie's". Try thoughtfully crafted mixed drinks @ Journeyman's Distillery and even enjoy a round of putt-putt golf at their new putting green "Welter's Folly Putting Green". You can enjoy a movie at our own "Vicker's Theatre" or enjoy one of many shows to see at the "Acorn Theater". Kids will love visiting "Timbertown", a playground that was built entirely by the community's hands! If your into dive bars, "Nelson's Saloon" is something to see..they have the best burgers! Take a stroll through town by foot or bike, there is so much to see & do! This home is located on the south side of town, just under a 10 minute walk into downtown. There is plenty of free parking downtown if you choose to drive to your local destinations. There is not public transportation in Three Oaks, however there are a handful of taxi services and Uber's available from time to time. There are multiple bus/tour services available. Three Oaks is a quaint little village in the corner of Southwest Michigan, just minutes from the Indiana state line & only 1 hour, 15 minutes outside of Chicago.
