River Hill Hideaway is a cozy place of respite from the whirlwind called life. You can fish for bass, catfish and sunfish in the pond, or relax on the deck and listen to the river (if you can hear it over the crickets and frogs). The Little River (a trout stocked stream) bends just around the back of the property and you are welcome to fish there or enjoy the swimming hole. Be sure to get a NC fishing license if you plan to fish in the Little River. The space This home was completed in September, 2017. At 650 sf, it would be a stretch to call it a tiny house. We prefer to think it's just a great use of space. 1 bedroom with a king size bed, 1 bathroom and a combined kitchen/living area gives you everything you need. There is a twin size aerobed for a third guest. If you love to cook, our kitchen has everything you will need to make a delicious meal. Guest access The entire finished space is yours to use as our guest. You are also free to enjoy the property around the house but please note that the property is shared with the property owners and their guests. The house has a studio apartment in the basement which is used by the owners during most of the year. It has it's own entrance. Other things to note We know this will be a disappointment for some, however, we do not allow pets. Please help us maintain the sweet smell of our home indoors! Smoking, vaping, cannabis, and e-cigarettes are prohibited inside. Smoking is permitted outside. Also of importance, we work hard to maintain the driveway to the house, but it is steep in sections. Front wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles are recommended during the winter months should there be inclement weather.
