The lake is quite and peaceful as no jet skis or gas-powered motor boats are permitted -- just quite, small electric motors or human-powered kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards. Towamensing trails offers several amenities to that are great for families. Free guest passes are available by completing a one-page form and sending it us several days in advance. The house has strong wifi and good cell phone service so it works well for those looking for an alternative place to work. In the summer, free badges enable access a variety of community amenities: sand beach, outdoor swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court, game room, playground. To access the amenities there is a one-page form from the homeowner's association that you will need to completed 5 days before arrival. Beach and swimming pool are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community does not permit gas-powered motor boats or boats not owned by a community homeowner on lake. Outside fires are also not permitted by non-homeowners. Trash and recycling need to be taken to the community's transfer station.
