Located in a quiet neighborhood. Access the east end of the beautiful Astoria River Walk just blocks away. Covered deck with patio furniture. Private bathroom. Ability to easily and safely use stairs is necessary for access to the bedroom and bathroom. Astoria Homestay license #20-01. The space Daylight basement room with ample natural light. Hybrid style king bed with foam and springs for additional support. Small desk and ample plug ins. Connected to central heat, but also a small electric fireplace for additional coziness and ambiance. Enjoy the local community radio station, or spin some records (small selection including local musicians is provided). Attached is a small sitting room with mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle. Does require ability to safely move up and down stairs and adherence to safety, such as use of handrails. A note on ceilings - One single beam with height of 6 foot at the bottom of the stairs otherwise all areas have height of over 6 feet to about 8 feet. Guest access Guests will access the home from the east side of the house with a code access key lock box. The space is designed to give you privacy, with a separate entrance and no shared space. If you need laundry or kitchen access, you will be able to contact your host to make arrangements. Your host works from home and will likely be on property to support you most of the time. During your stay I work from home and will mostly be on site to support you, but you will have privacy during your stay. I have one small dog on site. Other things to note Not recommended for anyone with severe dog or cat allergies or inability to easily navigate stairs.
