Bruce and Judy's Cozy Cottage

The guest house is a cozy, modern place perfect for a couple's stay in Spokane. In 2016, we gutted and rebuilt the 550 sq. ft. guest house and insulated it so it is very quiet inside. Kitchen is fully equipped. Close to popular hiking & biking trails, great restaurants, shopping, and the beautiful outdoors, you’ll love both exploring the gorgeous country views, finding the most fantastic sunrises and sunsets as well as settling into a fully-functional kitchen and cozy space. The space We decorated the cottage with furniture we felt is very comfortable and the pictures on the the walls are all from our collection. We hope you enjoy viewing them. The cottage has high speed wireless internet access (abt. 270 Mbps). Access to "over the air" TV stations is freely available for viewing on our 4K SmartTV . You may attach your laptop to our SmartTV via the provided HDMI cable. The SmartTV is Roku ready which provides you with free TV and News (ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS). Enough choices that you may not want to leave the cottage. And feel free to use our fully equipped kitchen and the 6 burner gas BBQ on the patio. The bedroom and living room each have a temperature control so you can adjust each room to fit your needs and whims. Guest access Before you arrive for your stay, a key code will be provided so you can enter the cottage. If we know what time you will arrive, Bruce and Judy will try to be available to show you around the cottage and answer any questions you may have. But if we miss you, we left a guide to the cottage and surrounding area on the table in the entryway. The guide has instructions for using the TV and Also the guide contains a list of our favorite restaurants in the area (including a new favorite, India House @ 4410 S Regal St, Spokane, WA 99223). USING YOUR CODE TO UNLOCK THE FRONT DOOR DEADBOLT LOCK: To open deadbolt  type your code and a "green check" will light up in lower left corner. The deadbolt will withdraw and you can open door when you hear a beep. Pushing the door before the deadbolt completes opening will cause the opening to fail and leaves the door locked. P.S. The door does not lock automatically. You can lock the door when inside by turning the lock switch and when going out by touching the "lock" icon on the lower right corner of the keypad. Other things to note A dog but no other animal is welcome but please note the cottage backyard is not fully enclosed.
