LOCATION - We are a short and beautiful walk to famous downtown Savannah yet the location has a residential feel rather than a touristy feel. The apartment is located on the border of the Victorian District and the Historic District. The Victorian District was just named one of the Top Ten Great Neighborhoods in America for 2014 by the American Planning Association (APA) in Washington D.C. The location is perfect as you are in a great area of historic homes (ours was built in 1875) mixed with some businesses and churches. PRIVACY – You have the entire roomy 670 square foot apartment with an entrance completely independent of the main house. The apartment has a great layout, ten foot ceilings, and plenty of light. This is the first level apartment. Both the first level and the upstairs apartments are listed on Airbnb and are located behind the main home separated by a lovely garden/courtyard. We are located in the main house on the property and available to you as needed. COMFORT – The apartment has a bedroom featuring a huge and comfy king bed, a wall mounted 42” LED TV with cable, large closet and attached bathroom with washer and dryer. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances including dishwasher and is well equipped with cooking equipment, dishes, and plenty of extras including a large seating area in the dining room. The living room has plenty of seating and a LED TV/DVD combo, Roku, and cable. The apartment has high speed internet in addition to cable. VALUE – Free street parking in our area without any hassles of needing any parking pass, although a vehicle is not necessary as most of the famous attractions are walking distance from the apartment. There is also free public transportation around the historic area with a stop three blocks from the apartment. The apartment has a Keurig coffee maker with a selection of pods. For those who favor their own coffee, we keep a French Press in the kitchen cabinet. Additionally, the apartment is equipped with an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and basic toiletries.
