Home in Milwaukee

Our comfortable and roomy space includes your own private bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bathroom, and living room and is located in Bay View, just minutes from downtown Milwaukee and Lake Michigan, and within walking distance of many coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and shops. The 42" flat screen in the den has a Roku with Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime available. A large fenced in backyard is also available for a nighttime campfire or quiet relaxation under strung cafe lights. The space The home was originally built in 1900 as as small bungalow, but over the 50+ years that the family before us lived here, additions were made, and an eventual "flip" was done to get it to the gorgeous open concept house that it is now. Situated on a corner lot across from a large open green space, our Bay View home is unlike many others. Please note that the den is without furniture to sit on until our new couch arrives! However, there is a TV in the guest bedroom as well. Guest access The space includes a private bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a second floor living space, for a total of over 600 sq ft of private space. The large kitchen is also available for use, but my husband and I also live in the home so it is a shared space. The large fenced in backyard has a fire pit, tiki torches, and strung lighting available for your use as well. During your stay My husband Mike and I do live in the house, so you may see us in passing. We must go through our backyard to access the garage and therefore will pass through the hallway off which your bedroom and bathroom is located, but we are quiet and will give you the privacy you deserve. If you need us, feel free to just holler for us or shoot us a text. Other things to note Our small fur children also reside in the house, but Punky (8 lb chihuahua mix), Maui (8 lb chiweenie), and the two lazy cats will be kept out of your private sleeping and living space. Their love can be bought with a few treats (provided by us) and if you're lucky and willing, they may just snuggle up on your lap for a quick nap. Please note that by requesting a booking you are acknowledging your awareness that these animals will be in the space and while we do our best to keep allergens at a minimum, we cannot guarantee that they do not exist. Note that from 10/19-11/2 there will be no couch or chairs in the den as we await our new furniture.
