The "Loft” space has been a labor of love for me...and has taken me over 2 years to create. It is the 2nd floor above my large detached garage. It could barely even be called a storage space before. Some of the floors were in such bad shape it could hardly be walked upon! I always knew it has such potential, and finally dug in to create a space that i could only dream of before work began. Step by step it happened, with the culmination of a full bath! So it's now my second space i'm making available to Airbnb guests from near and far! As stated before, it's open floor plan, except bathroom...with some clever little touches to make the bedroom cozy and closed by night. I always had the vision of it being an all open space, with exposed walls etc like you'd see in an old warehouse converted to living space in a city. That's the vibe I went for, and I'm very happy with the outcome! Our family has had many a good time entertaining in the cool and funky space. Everything is there for a unique and comfy stay! Very comfy memory foam queen sized bed, and a double sized futon to sleep 2 additional guests. There is a 50" LED TV. Lots and lots of little artistic touches for you to find and explore. Bathroom is new, featuring shower, sink, and toilet, and quite large with chandelier and crystal light. MUCH daytime light, and wooden blinds for nighttime privacy. It is a very cozy, homey artistic space! Come see for yourself! I'd love to host you! I want to reiterate something....YES, your entrance IS into my garage space, where I park my car etc! The loft space is directly above my actual garage!! ***NOTE...I will accept pets on a case-by-case basis! You have access to the whole second floor loft space, private apartment. Private entrance. Keyless passcode entry. Social distancing. We do not have to meet. But I am a text or phone call away. I live on the main property, main/ground floor. I am available if there is a need or a problem. It's a wonderful place to take a stroll, and check out the architecture. (Property is also 1 minute from York Hospital) Needless to say, it's very picturesque here! Convenient to just about everything that you would need, including traveling to some great historical areas. 1 minute drive to RT 83 north/south, 6 minute drive to RT 30 east/west. Amtrak train station in Lancaster, PA is just 30 mins. away. -1 hour drive straight south to downtown Baltimore, MD -2 hour drive straight south to Washington, DC -2 hour drive straight east to Philadelphia, PA. -30 mins. straight north to our state capital, Harrisburg, PA. -30 mins. straight east to Lancaster, PA, into Amish country, and a very happening downtown scene -3 1/2 hour drive to NYC There is private street parking here, on the Irving Road side of the property, which is where your private entrance to "Loft” area of property is, through the 2 car garage doors. An Earth Flag is directly above your entrance keypad. And again, YES...you are entering into my garage where I park my car etc!! The Loft is then above this garage space. There is bus service available as well, if necessary. And of course, lots of Uber drivers. ~ I am offering a 20% discount, for extended stays/28+ days. There will be a cleaning fee assessed of $100 per month. -A treat awaits you upon arrival. ~Specialty homemade gourmet cakes, biscotti, and a variety of sweet treats available by special order if you have a need. Like nothing you've tasted before! ~All that I ask is that you respect my property as you would your own! Common sense and especially kindness go a long way! Have things in good order when you leave please.
