Oak Street Flat - a quiet, welcoming getaway

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the north slope of Mt. Tabor you’ll be staying in a serene & welcoming historic home. Oak Street Flat is the perfect getaway for families, international travelers, and those looking for direct access to the city's delights. Fully-outfitted and dappled in natural light, the complete kitchen and claw-foot tub allows you to recharge and relax. This spacious apartment is tucked between restaurants, bars and shops in the Belmont, Hawthorne & Hollywood districts. The space When you enter the apartment you will immediately feel at home. I’ve taken care to include all the necessities you’ll need including coffee & tea, light breakfast, organic bath salts & soaps, high-speed internet and plenty of charging stations. In the calming bedroom, you’ll find a comfortable queen-size bed with 100% cotton sheets for a fabulous night’s rest. The spacious living room has a work desk and plenty of lounging space with great natural light that is found throughout the unit. Find your relaxation oasis with the claw-foot tub and sit-down shower. The fully-outfitted kitchen includes coffee & maker, tea & kettle, dishes, pots/pans, microwave, gas range, full refrigerator. For supplies, the market is a 5 minute walk. Oak Street Flat is in the heart of some of my favorite Portland neighborhoods. Within blocks you can enjoy adult beverages at some of the best bars in town -- the Horse Brass Pub, Belmont Station, and Roscoe's. Find live music at the Goodfoot Lounge or local institution Laurelthirst Pub for a unique Portland experience. Enjoy a short hike at Mt. Tabor park or take the kids down the street to the local elementary school playground. Casual and fine dining, coffee and hand crafted goods can be found on Belmont Street, Hawthorne Blvd and Montavilla. Guest access The private entrance with your own key allows you to come and go freely, leaving you open to explore the city or enjoy a night in. Other things to note The home is 126 years old and noise can carry. You may occasionally hear some faint noise downstairs from myself. Smoking of any kind is NOT allowed inside the flat.
