Away Time is your place to call home while visiting the Oregon coast. This modern, cozy beach-themed apartment is fully furnished with everything you need, whether your stay is two nights or two months. Be refreshed as you embark on a perfect day getting toes sandy at Sporthaven Beach and later hiking through the lush forest, on the Redwood Nature Trail, or one of the many activities! Fishing the Rivers, port festivities, restaurants and more are minutes away with Away Time as your home base. This NO SMOKING, two-story, 1000 sq ft apartment is in a small neighborhood. The structure is attached to the owner’s home/garage and close to neighbors. There are no common areas aside from shared parking. There is only room for one vehicle at this rental. The drive down the road to the apartment is not the most aesthetically pleasing (due to some older run-down trailers nearby) but we assure you this cozy apartment is a safe home-away-from-home and will not disappoint! There are no ocean or river views from the property. This home sleeps a max of 3 people. There is one bedroom, with a King mattress. However, in the downstairs living room, there is a twin hide a bed that you pull out of the loveseat, for that additional sleep space. Please note- this is a two-story apartment. The bathroom, washer/dryer, and media room are all located downstairs. Upstairs is the main entry, bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The Apartment is all private access for our guests. The neighborhood is mostly manufactured homes as you drive up to the apartment. In front of the apartment/parking is an open field. Paragon Property Management is available 24/7. We are local and have staff for weekend and After Hour issues. We are also in the office 9-4 Monday- Thursday and Friday 9-3. While the neighborhood is not the top notch neighborhood appearance wise, it is a great location for activities here in Brookings! Close to everything! It is just up the hill from The Port of Brookings. Just 1 mile walk to the beach! It is close to several restaurants, coffee shops and fun outlet stores. You are within walking distance to the Port of Brookings and all the activities that are held there! There are close restaurants, charter fishing, bike rentals and much more (all just walking distance)! We would suggest a vehicle for groceries as the stores are about 3-5 miles from this rental. You will find everything you need for your day trip just inside the door, including beach chairs, towels, sand toys, cooler, and more. A short half-mile walk will get you to the Port of Brookings Harbor where the boardwalk houses many fun town events, small shops, delicious restaurants and eateries. Walk less than a mile from the Port and you will be at Sport Haven Beach. A local gym is less than a half-mile from the apartment. If the weather is not what you hoped for, or you are weary from your adventures, curl up on the couch in one of two separate living areas. Enjoy the electric fireplace as you get into a good book or a board game with friends and family. Watch a movie on one of three large screen televisions. A variety of options for relaxation abound.
