Slow down & enjoy the peacefulness of the water in the morning or pick up some local seafood to cook for dinner & dine out on the deck while watching the boats speed by. Downtown Washington is 4 miles away-visit local restaurants, shops & historic buildings. Goose Creek State Park is 16 miles away, and then head over to historic Bath, where the famous pirate Blackbeard (Edward Teach) made his home. The space Our favorite space is outdoors on our multilevel deck and catching the perfect view of the Pamlico River. Get up early and catch a spectacular sunrise with a cup of joe in hand.
