Rosarita Ranch Retreat

We converted the upstairs of our ranch home to accommodate 8 people. There's a banquet hall right next to the house which also has a bedroom/king plus 4 twin air beds and a full bed which makes our charming ranch an inviting space for small group retreats, reunions, and celebrations. You may wish to also rent the “Love Shack” guest house to accommodate 2 more guests. This listing is a favorite for HUNTERS AND WEDDINGS! No pets, please. The space Sleeps 15, access to a beautiful banquet hall, located on 50-acre ranch. Guest access Upstairs bedrooms, kitchen and dining areas, banquet hall with separate bedroom, outdoor covered hammock pavilion, fire pit swings with seating and lighting, and plenty of walking and exploring. There is a perimeter fence around all the buildings. From the fence, you may feed the cows, pet the donkey and miniature horse, and interact with the animals. You may walk to the pond, however any exploring outside the perimeter fence is at your own risk. Animals are animals; we recommend (and provide) long walking sticks in case a cow gets too close for comfort. Unless you rent all of our listings, there may be other guests sharing the outdoor spaces. Other things to note East Bernard is cute little town, 6 miles from our ranch. Tuesday through Saturday, Glory Bean Coffee Shop serves excellent breakfast and lunch. It's attached to a boutique and antique mall that are so much fun! The Savon Drug store is also a great find. They do free gift wrapping! Lupe's Mexican restaurant is the best Mexican food ever! I love the Charrito Shrimp, and Roberto gets the Carne Maria. Let them know you're from Rosarita Ranch! There are lots of little towns around with wineries and antique shops worth visiting. The gulf at Matagorda Bay is less than 90 minutes from the house. The parking, restrooms, grills, and picnic tables there are free. It is quiet and not crowded. People fish there quite a bit off a long pier or at the mouth of the Colorado River.
