Other things to note Marfa is a small town with limited resources and a slower pace of life, some call this "Marfa Time". Due to our remote location Cell phone service and internet can operate in a spotty/inconsistent manner beyond residents' control. Additionally most businesses are owner-operated so many places are closed Sunday-Tuesday. There are still options, however they will be more limited than Wednesday-Saturday. If you are coming specifically to visit Chinati Foundation please keep in mind they are closed Monday and Tuesday when booking.
