Villa Maininki, Sulkava 400 m2, 19 persons, 10 rooms + large kitchen, 2 saunas, 3 showers. Villa Maininki is a unique, fully equipped early 20th century log house near Savonlinna. It has been fully renovated. It is a spacious two floor house in a peaceful and quiet location in Sulkava, eastern Finland. It is located near Lake Saimaa, the biggest inland lake in Finland. Villa Part of the rooms is equipped with TV and there is a free Wi-FI. Private 2 hectares garden and beach. The space There are three toilettes, two showers and two saunas; electric heated in the main building and one by the path to the lake – heated with logs. The 45 square metre kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave oven, two fridges with freezers, dishwasher and cutlery as well as tableware. In the utility room there is a washing machine and a tumbe drier. Linen and bedwear as well as a hairdryer, shampoos, conditioners etc are included to the room price. By the beach there is a 35 metre long dock where you can enjoy sun bathing and swimming. Other things to note The nearest grocery stores are in Sulkava (11 kms) where you also can find ATM, a bank, a pharmacy, a restaurant and cafes, a church and a gas station. The nearest cities are Savonlinna (45 kms) and Mikkeli (70 kms). From Helsinki to Sulkava the distance is 310 kms. The best way to arrive to Villa Maininki is with a car or a charter bus from Helsinki to Juva (3-6 connections per day), which is about 30km away from the Villa.
