The ReTreet House

Be a part of nature and stay at a house among the trees. A unique place to unwind or recharge, or a home base to explore the many activities of Lake Superior's north shore. The space The ReTreet House was completed in the spring of 2019! It is a well insulated and heated two story house built among the many white cedar trees on 30 acres of woods. The first level is a very comfortable bedroom with a queen size bed and large window overlooking the surrounding woods. The second level features a tree top view of the white cedar forest with a peek of Lake Superior. There is a full size sleeper sofa, kitchenette area with microwave, fridge, toaster oven, coffee pot, tea pot and a counter height table and chairs. A t.v. with Roku is mounted in the corner and wi-fi high speed internet is provided. There is no indoor plumbing, but a cold and hot water dispenser is available. Also, just steps away from the dwelling is a cute, clean, heated outhouse for your comfort. Guest access There is enough room for one vehicle to park and turn around down by the ReTreet House. Guests are welcome to park an extra vehicle or trailer up by our house during their stay. There are a few paths around the property that guests are welcome to explore. Other things to note For the safety of young children, please keep in mind that this is an elevated dwelling. Offsite Workout and Shower Facilities For your convenience, The ReTreet House has an exclusive agreement with The Two Harbors Bodies in Balance 24/7 fitness center. Your lodging fee includes full access to the fitness center, which includes workout equipment, sauna, shower facilities and towels. All guests must sign a Participation Waiver Release Form before using the fitness center facilities. Please notify us to obtain an electronic access key card. The Two Harbors Bodies in Balance 24/7 Fitness Center is located approximately 3 miles from the ReTreet House at, 1451 Hwy 2, Two Harbors, MN 55616 Other Shower Facility options The city of Two Harbors Burlington Bay Campground is located at 1328 Highway 61 (located at the intersection of Highway 61 and Park Road) a shower pass is available for the newly built and modern bath house. To obtain a shower pass, you must go the the campground manager's office. The Bath house will be open and available May to Oct. The cost of the pass is between 3-7 dollars.
