Volcano Huts Þórsmörk

This property is remotely located in Thorsmork Nature Reserve, 20 mi from Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The Volcano Huts are ONLY accessible by hiking, special regional busses or 4x4 super jeep transport (modified vehicles), at an additional charge or by hiking. All cottages feature a kitchenette, a seating area and a private terrace. All accommodations options have shared toilets. The shared showers are in a service building next to the main house. Hiking to the property is also an option as Laugavegur and Fimmvörðuháls hiking trails lead here. On-site facilities include a sauna. Reykjavik is about 81 mi way. Lava Grill Restaurant & Bar serves up a menu of Icelandic cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Tea/coffee and snacks are offered throughout the day.
