Perched in trees just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, it's ideal for guests who would like to reconnect with nature, and it's a great home base for exploring the High Country. The space Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, this beautiful cabin is literally nestled in the trees. Built with special touches throughout, you may not want to leave this unique treasure once you get here. As you drive down the private drive you will feel the stress of daily life melt away. The treehouse is below the main house and has views of the vast forest surrounding you. Enjoy your breakfast on the back deck with total privacy from the outside world. Inside the cabin you will find a fully stocked kitchen and charming sitting area with comfortable futon that pulls out into an additional sleeping space. A comfortable queen-size bed is upstairs in the loft and surrounded by windows so you will wake up in the trees. The treehouse uniquely features an outdoor shower and a composting toilet. Guest access The treehouse is yours during your stay. Guests can explore surrounding land and hiking trails on the property. Other things to note **Please note: There is no shower available in the treehouse during the winter months when it is below freezing. The treehouse does have a bathroom with a composting toilet. If you are staying for two nights or more, you are welcome to request shower access in our private home.**
