Private home on 6 acres w/ snowmobile trail access Peacefully removed from the rigors of everyday life. Sit back listen to the brook, watch the hummingbird buzz around and relax... Or set up your base camp for hunting/fishing/snowmobiling. The garage is locked and off limits. The breezeway that connects the house to the garage may be used as a "mud room". The covered area out back behind the oil tank should be avoided, it is only used to access my furnace. The shed only houses my lawnmower and should not be accessed. All other areas including the entire house and yard is accessable to you. If you use the awning on the front of the building please be sure to roll it up during any severe weather and also when you are ready to checkout. I would love to chat with you about my property and the surrounding area. Please message me in the Airbnb app. Booked guests may call me anytime during their stay. Highloop Rd is a private dead end road. *Winter Guests are recommended to have 4WD/AWD as the road and driveway are plowed after storms, but not town maintained* There are 2 neighbors that may turn left and drive by my place to get to theirs. There are about a half dozen camps to the right of the fork. Generally it is quiet and peaceful here but the occasional vehicle does pass by. On the way to my place you drive by a gravel pit that is currently used for composting cedar bark mulch. Occasionally you may hear someone working. West Rd connects US route 3 and NH 145. Taking either route 3 or 145 north will get you to Pittsburg NH and the lakes. Likewise if you travel south on either route they will both bring you to Colebrook NH. Personally I prefer the drive on 145 (Unless there is a snowstorm) The water at my place has a high mineral content that gives a slight odor. It is safe for bathing, washing dishes etc, but I recommend using bottled water for drinking and cooking. I have left 2 gallons of spring water to use.
