The East View Room at The Holiday House

Welcome to the beautiful Finger Lakes and The Holiday House! We are located equal distance between Seneca and Cayuga lakes and their award-winning wine and beer trails. The Holiday House is about 25 minutes to Ithaca, Geneva, Watkins Glen and Seneca Falls. The Finger Lakes and nearby state parks are yours to hike, bike, boat and explore! The space The East View Room: Rest easy in this comfy and cozy first floor room. The East View is appointed with a queen size bed, en-suite private bathroom with full-size shower and bath, Egyptian cotton linens, Turkish Towels, and eclectic artwork and antiques. The corner window frames the Finger Lakes' sunrise each morning. Whether you plan to do it all, or nothing at all, this is the place for you. Surrounded by open fields and farms, this quiet country setting in an unspoiled corner of New York, invites you to kick up your feet, take a deep breath, and relax. Your private bedroom and en-suite bathroom are in a beautiful 1880 Victorian House in the home of a local wine family. We have 2 rooms available, The East View and The North View. Each room locks from the interior. Please note that we do not have a kitchen available for guest use. Guest access Guests will have private access through the glass porch doors. The first floor sitting room and the front porch are common space for guest use. Guests may also explore our yard and gardens and take a stroll along the paths in back fields. We provide complimentary coffee and tea in the sitting room. Please note that our friendly animals live here too and you will likely encounter them in the yard. During your stay Your room is a part of the home and property that we, our children and our pets (dogs, cats and chickens) reside in and on. Your space is private and removed from our living areas. We respect your privacy, and we like ours too. We will help you get settled and are happy to answer any questions and provide suggestions to make your stay in the Finger Lakes a wonderful experience.
