Barn house stay near Palisade, hot tub and views!

Come enjoy country views just 4.1 miles from downtown Palisade. This adorable mother in law "barn" is located right behind our main living house. We are conveniently located right next to the Palisade fruit and wine byway. You'll enjoy gorgeous views of Mt. Garfield to the north and the Grand Mesa to the east. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day of adventure. This is country living at its best! We live next door, but this ADU is all yours. The space Our "barn" has 1 real bedroom with a king bed. The second bedroom is located upstairs in a loft. Please note that it is very open and there is no door, if privacy is important to you. The pull out couch is located in the main open living area. We have a full kitchen stocked with spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, and lots of cooking utensils. If you are booking this space for 6 people, please remember that there is only 1 bathroom and it is small but efficient. We live across from the barn and we have 2 small children and a busy life so you will likely see us out and about. We have several cats and dogs that like to wander over and say hi from time to time. The outdoor space: We have a graveled patio with a gas fireplace for you to enjoy. The hot tub is situated between your barn and our house and we don't use it if you're in it. It's open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We like to make this as comfortable for you as we can, but we also live here and sometimes need a soak too! :) We have an outdoor patio with seating for 6 and a gas BBQ. ****In spring of 2026, we had a friend build us a custom sauna. It's beautiful, smells like cedar and is our new favorite thing! It's heated by a wood stove which takes some effort and planning to fire up. We would like to offer it to you, but it will require prior planning and an additional fee. If you would like to use it, please let us know. We will do everything in our power to make it available to you, but there will be times that we cannot offer it to you, due to our availability. Thank you in advance for understanding. The health benefits to saunas are numerous and we are so excited to share this unique experience with you. Guest access You will have free access to the barn, hot tub, garden area and guest parking. We do ask that you do not drive around our house and please respect our side of the black fence. We have lots of guests coming and going and we have kids and pets that we would like to keep safe. Thanks so much! Other things to note The sauna is a new feature that will require an additional fee to use. The fee is $50 per use. It is heated by a wood stove which requires about an hour to heat up to an appropriate temperature. We will need prior planning to get the fire started for you. If you would like to use it during your stay, please let us know so we can plan for it. There will be times that it will not be available because of our schedules. Also, in the summer if there is a burn ban, we will not be able to offer it as an amenity. Thank you for understanding.
