Mendocino - Fantastic Ocean Views - town, 3/4 mile

Welcome to Lunasea, a private, soothing, whimsical respite, yet a quick walk to Mendocino Village! Ocean views from every bedroom perfectly ensconce this contemporary art filled beach home. The open concept kitchen and living room with skylights/wood stove is the gathering place, with 3 bedrooms, each with their own attached bath. Lots of nooks to curl up with a good book and a cup of tea or wine. The huge wrap around redwood deck provides gazing areas towards the sea, where a hot tub awaits. The space The entire home and property overlooking the ocean is yours to enjoy! Besides the fun and and colorful interior (Lunasea is a double entendre :) ) , we have created lots of outdoor seating areas to take in the views, including a hot tub on the edge of the property overlooking the Pacific with an amazing view of nearby Mendocino Headlands. We have also added a delightful propane fire pit and outdoor sectional couch, to maximize outdoor time. Guests love the easy walk to downtown Mendocino, yet can enjoy complete privacy while home . . . guests have told us they feel they are in their own oasis at Lunasea. The enclosed courtyard garden provides a nice haven on windy days. The treehouse (for kids AND adults) overlooking the ocean is a special added treat. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property, and complete privacy during their stay at Lunasea. Other things to note We are dog friendly, and allow one dog (a second pup may be welcomed, in certain situations, but only with owner approval in advance, thanks!). There is a nonrefundable fee of $100 for each dog per stay. Your beloved pups will love our enclosed courtyard, and you will be thrilled they are safe. We also have an acre of land (unfenced) for your dog to roam. We have a variety of books to peruse, both fiction and non-fiction (true to our theme and house name “Lunasea” 😉, our niche is psychology books) as well as informative books on flora, fauna, and birds of the Mendocino Coast. A plethora of games. A piano to tinkle on, and a guitar to strum. And blankets abound for your comfort . . . We like to pamper our guests! Please enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine or sparkling water (you choose), coffee/tea and cream, and chocolates!
