Davis Park Beach Cottage- Fire Island, NY

Mid-century beach cottage located in the family-friendly community of Davis Park, Fire Island, New York. The house accommodates six and is nestled in the trees just steps from the Atlantic Ocean and Great South Bay. A stay here offers the quintessential beach vacation experience. The space Our home has been preserved in its near original condition for 3 generations. It has an elegant simplicity. The house does not have internet, a dishwasher, or washer/dryer. Because part of the real Fire Island experience involves shedding our day-to- day habits, we appreciate and enjoy the connection with a simpler time that this beach house gives us. Guest access Entire house, the Atlantic Ocean, Great South Bay, Davis Park Marina, and an endless beach as far as your legs can take you! Other things to note Without a washer/dryer in the house, guests bring their own linens/bed sheets, towels etc. We do have pillows, comforters, and blankets for use. Most guests also bring the bulk of their food. There is a small harbor market for food/staples however, it is understandably more expensive than a mainland grocery. Some shop on their way to the island and transport provisions with them. There is also an option to order online and have your food delivered to the Davis Park Ferry. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, oven, toaster, microwave, blender and coffee maker for your use. There is a Weber Grill with chimney lighter (no started fluid needed).
