The old-world charm in this spacious artist loft ignites the creative spirit. 2-story loft in heritage 1846 building w/ limestone-brick walls, wood beams, oil-rubbed maple floors and French windows in Old Montreal steps from waterfront. Relax on plush couches and get dreamy in the hammock swing by the fire. Luxuriate upstairs in jacuzzi/shower combo + aromatherapy bath salts and bamboo robes. Drift away on huge loft bed beneath rooftop skylight and awaken refreshed and inspired. ***AVAILABLE FOR EXTENDED STAYS Calendar dates are opened a month in advance - please contact me for long stays!! This is what staying in Old Montreal is all about. 2 storey historic loft all to yourself. King bed, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, WiFi, A/C. Bedroom is on a mezzanine (upstairs), King size bed with ensuite bathroom & double size Jacuzzi. First floor is spaciously laid out with dining room, full kitchen, dedicated office area, living room and powder room with full size washer and dryer. Extra guests sleep on very comfy sofa. There is also a single cot available. 1200 square feet of historic charm and inspiring ambience. We regularly accommodate writers, musicians, actors and artists who return again and again. -For this reason, we only open calendar 2 weeks at a time. Please enquire for longer stays. The Old Port at its finest! 2 flights of stairs walk-up. I am available day and night, always reachable on my cell. I'm happy to help with directions and suggestions, and of course take care of any issues right away. I love hosting and know Montreal well. Just steps from the waterfront in Montreal’s Old Port, the loft is perfectly situated for exploring the city’s most popular attractions. Rent bikes, scooters and rollerblades (ice skates in winter), ride La Grande Roue de Montréal (tallest Ferris wheel in Canada) and stroll the cobblestone streets delighting in the quartier’s many galleries, boutiques, museums, artisanal cafés and gourmet restaurants. Old Port -> at your doorstep 55 Bus - 5 minute walk, runs north/south (to Plateau, Mile End & Little Italy) Place d'Armes metro/subway station (Orange Line) -10 minute walk Taxi stand on corner of Saint-Paul & Saint-Laurent - 30 seconds Montreal is a walking & bike friendly city. Chinatown -> 7 minute walk Downtown -> 10-15 minute walk Plateau -> 15-20 minute walk Mount-Royal Park -> 20-30 minute walk Mile End -> 30-40 minute walk Little Italy -> 60 minute walk There is a restaurant/bar 2 floors below which can be heard on some nights, usually Thursday to Saturday. Rue Saint-Paul becomes a Pedestrian Only street during the summer months with restaurant terraces & lots of action. This is the heart of Old Montreal.
