Just steps to Deer Creek and the Tribute Trail trailhead for all the hiking or mountain biking that abounds out of the front door. You're a gorgeous 10-12 minute walk (approx 3/4 of a mile) into the historic gold rush town for morning coffee, afternoon shopping or an evening concert or play. Enjoy the best of both worlds, with nature and culture steps away. The master bedroom has a queen size memory foam bed and ensuite bathroom. Enjoy a soak in the tub meant for 2! The second bedroom has a full bed with a pillow top mattress. The sofa in the living room folds out into a queen size bed. Curl up on one of the many window seats or take in fresh air on the decks. Listen for the sound of the rushing creek. The home is elegantly appointed with rustic elements and timeless charm. The driveway is steep and curvy, but our little Prius has always made it up just fine. Our home is on an acre in the woods without many neighbors nearby. You're more likely to hear the rushing creek or bird song than you are other people!
