Sink into one of three large sofas and relax with family/friend or watch TV. Past the living room, you'll find the large kitchen with plenty of seating and dining room that's ready to enjoy a meal together, prepared in the fully equipped kitchen with ample counter space. Past the kitchen is a sitting room with pull out queen sofa. The half bathroom and exit to rear deck and fenced backyard. Cook dinner on the grill and eat outside on warm spring and summer days on the back deck. The front porch is a perfect place to slowly ease into your day with a cup of coffee while catching up on local news. Or to unwind and relax after day on the beach. We have a pack and play for young ones, kids cups and plates as well. Parking (no street parking) 4 cars, 2 in the driveway and 2 on the grass in the front yard facing trees or 1 on grass side of house in front of driveway. Golf carts Town allows golf carts on roads, if you rent a golf cart, you don’t need to pay to park at beaches or downtown. There are a couple rental places in town. Area Attractions Parks: George Washington’s Birth Place national park, Westmoreland State Park, Stratford Hall, Caledon State park. Wineries: Ingleside, Monroe Bay Winery, Backporch Winery, Estates at Whitehall. Public boat ramp is about a mile from the house. There are several marinas on Monroe Bay to dock your boat and leave your trailer at during your stay. There are two public beach’s one is 2 blocks away the other is about a mile at end of the point. Town has a pier you can fish off. There are kayak and paddleboard rental next to town pier. You will have access to 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen, sitting room and second sitting room in master bedroom. Our home is located on The Point in between the Potomac River and Monroe Bay. Slow down and take a break from life in this quiet town of Colonial Beach, where fishing, biking, beach-bathing, golf-carting, and long walks along the shore await. Getting around town is easy! There are golf cart rental places in town. If you rent a golf cart you don’t have to pay to park at beach and downtown. As well as local cab company that charges $5 to any location in the beach area. Trolley from Memorial to Labor Day during the day that runs, allowing you to hop on and off at the many destinations throughout the community. The beach is about a 2 blocks walk from our home. Please bring your own chair and umbrellas, toys, etc. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles No smoking or drugs inside the house. No pets
