The house is located in a historic neighborhood in Vancouver, USA. [Just north of Portland, Oregon.] Come for business or pleasure and explore the area while you're here! Take a day trip to the Columbia River Gorge, Mountains, or Ocean Beaches. See the sites of Vancouver or Portland. The space Quiet, comfy and cozy! Furnished whole house rental with all the basics and extra touches too! We restored it to it's 1950's charm. Original oak floors, a cove ceiling in the living room, and vintage tile in the bath and kitchen. Recently upgraded to central air conditioning! Our place is best suited for groups of 5 or less, but we may be able to accommodate an extra person or two if they don't mind sleeping on the couch or floor sleeping pad. There is an extra charge of $10 per person, per night, after 5 guests. Also, take into consideration there's only one bathroom. The instant book system is set for a maximum of 6 guests, so if you plan to exceed that number, you will need to talk with us in advance (send an inquiry) to see if we can accommodate your needs. Thank you for your understanding. Bedrooms (three) each with a real bed (queen, double, single). Bathroom (one) with a tub/shower, sink and toilet. Kitchen with dishes, utensils, appliances, coffee, tea, spices. Living Room with two couches, desk, coffee table, cable television and internet service. Relax... listen to music or watch a show on our flat screen TV, keep connected with high speed internet, lounge in the backyard. Connect with family and friends over a meal or playing a game... indoor and outdoor games available. Explore nature and the city... guide books and brochures on hand. Guest access Guests will enjoy the privacy, convenience and comfort of a whole house rental with furnishings. Complimentary use of the features of the home, such as kitchen and laundry. There is a large backyard, where guests may relax or play lawn games. Bicycles may be parked in the attached garage. The garage is a shared space, as we have storage there that we may need to access from time to time. No access to the attic or crawl space. But the home is the private domain of our guests during their stay. Respect the neighbors and their property; be kind and use common courtesy. *We're environmentally conscious, so we recycle and use earth friendly products as much as possible. *We're also family friendly. However, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. *Please maintain the cleanliness of the home and treat our things with respect. *We ask you to remove your shoes upon entering the home. If you can't for medical reasons, then please make sure your shoes are clean and soft soled. This is to protect our wood floors and oriental rugs from damage and to maintain the cleanliness of the home. *If you have allergies or chemical sensitivities, please let us know. We will try our best to accommodate your needs. We have scent free cleaning products, natural cleaning products, and common cleaning products on hand. *The neighborhood is quiet, not much traffic, but occasionally trains can be heard in the distance. The flight path of the Oregon National Guard goes over west Vancouver at about 9am. Other than that, you can expect a fairly quiet stay. We have earplugs available if needed. *We subscribe to high speed internet. If at any time the speed drops to an unacceptable level, we ask our guests to notify us immediately so we may contact our service provider and trouble shoot the problem. * This is a pet free, smoke free, drug free property, inside and outside.
