Cabin in Lakefield

Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do! The space We've kept furniture simple and compact and decor fairly minimalistic (with lots of plants)! With exposed beams, whitewashed wood and large windows, The Nook has a cabin feel with many modern touches. Our space is best suited to couples looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway or small, quiet families looking to spend some time in nature. Guest access Situated on Katchewanooka Lake, with a shallow, sandy waterfront, you are welcome to enjoy to the dock and waterfront during your stay. The sunsets here are stunning! You also have full use of our 2 paddle-boards and canoe. You are a short paddle away from a local Eagle's nest and the lake offers really great fishing! Enjoy the private hot tub nestled under the trees! Other things to note This is a quiet rental, not suitable for parties or large groups. We love music but prefer the sounds of nature after 10 pm :) Please note: Hot tub is totally private and available at any point during your stay (year-round). Sauna is accessible based on us being available to get it going for you!
