Number 4, Loch Shiel View, Glenfinnan sleeps 4

Number 4 is a 2 bedroom end of terrace cottage nestled on the shores of Loch Shiel in the historic village of Glenfinnan, 17 miles west of Fort William along the breath-taking Road to the Isles. The view from the front is spectacular and the rear view is not bad either! Glenfinnan is the place to be for Harry Potter fans, Loch Shiel is the location of the 'Black Lake' and the Glenfinnan Viaduct-Harry Potter Bridge, and the Jacobite Steam Train (Hogwarts Express) are within walking distance. The space The cottage is set over two storeys. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms — one double and one twin with full-size single beds — along with a modern bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. Downstairs offers a comfortable lounge with Smart TV, full Wi-Fi and a log burner for cosy evenings (first basket of logs and kindling provided). The well-equipped kitchen/diner includes an oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and dining table. A separate utility area has a washing machine and tumble dryer — ideal for longer stays. Patio furniture is available outside, perfect for enjoying the view on sunny days. For families, we can provide a high chair, travel cot and fire guard on request. One child under 2 stays free of charge. Please note: There is no facility to charge electric vehicles at the property or within Glenfinnan. Please plan to use charging points in surrounding areas. For a wider choice of restaurants and cafés, you’ll find plenty of options in Fort William, as well as in Arisaig, Mallaig and the surrounding areas. The Jacobite Steam Train operates seasonally and does not run between November and early April. The National Trust Visitor Centre is open year-round; however, opening hours vary, so please check in advance of your visit. A complimentary first basket of firewood is provided.
