Other things to note Harrison Serenity Ranch is accessible by Nate Harrison Grade Road which is approximately up 6 miles towards Palomar Mountain from Highway 76 near Pauma Valley. Nate Harrison Grade Road is not recommended for RVs or Trailers as the road is single lane dirt at places with rough areas. Most passenger cars will have no problem climbing the grade. There is alternative access via S6 near Lake Henshaw: this direction has a 3 mile downhill section of Nate Harrison Grade Road that is rougher and is not usually recommended unless traveling to Palomar Observatory from Harrison Serenity Ranch.
