The design and construction team have kept the integrity of the seaside property with it's planked walls and raked ceiling, enhancing the beach house ambiance. An additional lower patio area is available with lounge, chase lounge, hammock and outdoor dinning and bar all overlooking the ocean. There is plenty of opportunities to get active, we provide fishing gear for those whom want to catch their own fish in one of California's most recognized fishing hot spots right in front of you., you can BBQ the fish on both the wood fire pit or your private gas BBQ in front of the unit. You can harvest limited amount of mussels from the rocks and make your own mussel pot. Other activities include horseback riding, hiking, golf, surfing or wind surfing. The Pacific, west facing beach house allows you to view the surf at all times and enjoy the most breath taking sunsets, crashing surf, sea mist and bold rugged rock formations. The great room with it's 35 foot wide wall of pacific facing windows is comfortably furnished with a log-effect fireplace and a Smart flat screen TV. Internet and free US and Canada long distance supplied for your convenience. Dining for four at the antique table with it's captain's chairs, or at the large quartz peninsula. All electric kitchen appliances: fast glass top range, and small appliances. Generous quartz counter work space in neutral tones and plenty of cabinet space with ambiance lighting for enhanced cooking and entertaining experience. Two king bedrooms and two bathrooms: the countryside facing room has views of peaceful bucolic rolling hills and a red farmhouse with it's barn. To add to your comfort we have installed a wall mounted fireplace to keep the chill off and a T.V.. It has a large en suite with a tub and shower combo. The second king has a Pacific Ocean and farm view, a wall mounted fireplace and T.V.. A quaint shower bathroom with a quartz vanity services this king room. Both bedrooms offer great privacy and are ideal for two couples. Attention to detail for your comfort continues throughout. Plenty of towels, linens, comforters (with duvet covers changed for each guest) and quilts. Excellent Memory Foam toppers on both beds. All the mattresses and pillows have protectors and high quality pads. Two folding futon pads for extra two guest (ideal for kids and teens) If you need more room for extended family or friends we can offer the 'Little Sister Cottage' next door: Seamist Cottage. She is our cute & cozy one bedroom/bath with a sleeping loft/two twins(ideal for kids/teens) Seamist is a smaller version of Surfscape with all the great attention to detail and comfort. We have designed and furnished the Surfscape Beach House to create a memorable and wonderful experience that will leave you rested, renewed and ready to return again and again! 6 guests maximum at all times. Hiking Out of the backdoor of the property you can see Sonoma Coast State Park. The park is a State of California property in Sonoma County consisting of public access use on lands adjoining the Pacific Ocean. This extent of beach runs from a coastal point about 4 miles north of Jenner and continues for approximately 17 miles to the south to terminate at Bodega Head Other trails a bit further south include Pinnacle Gulch Trail, Gulch Trail Bodega Bay Oysters by the dozen Bodega Bay Oyster Company sells fresh oysters and other shellfish. A dozen medium cost +-$16. They are fresh and you can either BBQ at our place on your own private BBQ or server them raw infront of your own firepit and lounge. Horseback Riding Ride on the beach along the white waves of the Pacific Ocean. The views along the way are breath taking. A “dream come true” for everyone. Riding north from the ranch, you tour the wetland wildlife preserve with spectacular views of the Sonoma Coast. Then following Salmon Creek through the canyons towards the Miwok Meadow. Mussels and Fishing Pick your own mussels in front of the property, limited to 5LB per day (see safety guidance, seasonality and county rules apply) and prepare and cook it next to the beach on our wood burning firepit. We also have fishing rods you can borrow while being here and fish right in front of the property. Arts and Crafts Artisans Co-op and Bodega Landmark Studio is a short drive away to supply you with Arts and Crafts, textile and painting accessories. We also keep board games and basic sketching equipment inside the unit. Farmers Market in Bodega Bay Nice little farmers market with everything you need. All the vendor booths are simply set up in a large circle at the local community center (near the Children's Bell Tower). It's very humble and organized.
