The space Relax in an elegant, first-floor, private room in a chic Midtown/North Raleigh (end unit) townhome located in a quiet country club neighborhood. Whether you are here on business, house hunting, attending a wedding, concert or a show, visiting a loved one at Ravenscroft, taking a licensing exam at Prometric Testing Center, or simply checking out the local restaurant and nightlife scene, you will love chilling out in this quiet and ultra-comfy space. Indulge in unrivaled comfort in this private space, which includes: Beds: Two twin beds (the standard setup) that can be combined to form a split king bed, provided notice is given in advance (we need a reasonable amount of time to rearrange the furniture and change the linens to accommodate the king-size setup). >Four-inch gel-infused memory foam padding and comfy linens complement your Sterns & Foster mattress. Bathrooms: Two private bathrooms are available for use. One is directly adjacent to (immediately outside) your bedroom door. The second bathroom is located upstairs, just inside the room on the right at the top of the stairs. The second bathroom is available in case you need multiple flushes in a short period, as the first-floor toilet may (temporarily) be refilling slowly. All other water pressure is strong. (We have a third full bathroom for our private use. You will not be sharing a bathroom with us.) CHECK-IN & Check-Out > Check-in is at 4:00 pm (EST). Earlier check-in requests cannot be accommodated at this time; however, earlier bag drop is happily accommodated, so please plan accordingly. - >There is a smart lock on the door; however, we will try to be there to greet you whenever possible. We will send instructions on how to access the smart lock. (A cloud cam records all smart lock and entryway activity.) Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. (EST). CATS > PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE IF: -->you don't like cats, -->you are scared of cats, or -->you are allergic to cats. We love our cats very much. We do not want to have to keep our kittiehhhhhs locked up (this is their home too). They are very playful and at least one of them (Ozzy - our social cat) will likely want to greet you when you arrive. We run a Blueair Pro XL HEPA Silent Air Purifying System in the home 24/7. Although this mega-system is designed to help control allergens in the air, we cannot guarantee that all cat-related allergens will be completely removed. Therefore, if you are allergic to cats, we recommend that you do not book with us. STAIRS There are stairs on the property: > Outside of the home: There are three steps at the front entrance (two from the sidewalk to the landing and one as you enter the front door). The back entrance is currently unavailable to guests. >Inside the home, there is a staircase located within the house. However, your space is actually located on the first floor, so you won't need to go upstairs unless you require the use of the second private bathroom. Please read the useful info under our House Rules below, including check-in and parking details. Total stairs between the sidewalk and your room: 4. There are three leading up to the landing and then one in the doorway. *** Peaceful Hideaway: 1st Floor Bedroom > Private Bath > Midtown/North Raleigh *** Guest access Your room will come with either a G**gle Home Mini or an Amazon Show as well as free Wi-Fi and a TV. Access: foyer, hallway, your private room and private bath. A second private bath is available if you need it. Although the kitchen is currently unavailable due to a floor remodel and repair (for your safety, we do not want you to trip), we may be able to accommodate reasonable kitchen-related requests. Additionally, > There is a microwave and a refrigerator located in your room. > Dishes and silverware are available. During your stay COMMUNICATION > Heads-up Window: Please let us know when you plan to arrive by providing 30-60 minute window of your expected arrival time is greatly appreciated (so that one of us are not just walking out of the shower when you come in or the cleaning lady can complete her work on a flexible schedule with no worries. :) > If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know ASAP so that we may respond and address any issues that may arise. We do not anticipate any problems, however, we cannot fix anything that we are not aware of so please be sure to speak up. > If you need to reach us, it is quite easy as at least one of us will usually be on the property during your stay and if not, you can certainly call or message us if you need anything. >We are flexible when it comes to interacting with our guests. We are generally fairly hands-off as we know that privacy is important. Of course, we always enjoy making new friends so if you feel like hanging out or chatting, that's cool too. Other things to note Food: Please bring your own food - coffee and tea bags are available. >There are tons of restaurants around for sit-down, take-out, and some offer delivery. *** Please be mindful of food, drinks, and other items, and ensure the microwave is left clean. *** Food Delivery: You may arrange to have food items delivered (via DoorDash, Uber Eats, Amazon, etc., NOT by mail) if you don’t feel like going out. However, we cannot be held responsible for any items that you have ordered or delivered to our address, regardless of the circumstances. Extra Cleaning and Damage Fees: If there are stains, damages or additional cleaning is required, we will be forced to charge a cleaning fee (which we do not charge in the discounted price of the room), or damage/replacement/repair fees (if applicable). *** We rarely have to charge for such things, and we would prefer to keep it that way. ; ) *** No items of any kind may be mailed to our address under any circumstances. *** You may NOT use our address for anything other than what is listed above or as required by Airbnb policies. You may NOT attach your name to our address in any form. Unfortunately, we have been forced to file mail fraud charges in the past and we do not want to go through the process again. However, we will if we are forced to do so. You may NOT make a purchase using our Amazon account without permission and payment arrangements made in advance. Also, please don't sign up for any subscriptions or free trials using our accounts.
