Map and access purchase on their website. 2) Fatbike Lac Brompton (fatbike and snowshoes): departure from the cottage! (25 km of trails). Fatbike rental. Map on Ondago and purchase of access on their website. 3) Grand Lac Brompton: water sports, ice fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, etc. 4) Les Fondeurs Cross-Country Ski Club (20 km, 5-minute drive). Requires enough snow to open the slopes. Purchase of the pass at the Esso Convenience Store ($20/year). 5) Gravel bike paradise in the area. 6) The SEPAQ Orford expansion project will provide access to nearby areas. You will find more information about our beautiful region on site. The Chalet is located in the SECOND row of the Lake with a large wooded lot with views of the lake. You will have access to a semi-private beach at Lake Brompton. Swimming is lovely. Two kayaks are also at your disposal for discovering this beautiful lake. RENTAL TERMS **Bedding is NOT provided (no washer/dryer at the cottage). Bring full bedding: bed sheets (double bed), pillow covers, duvet, blanket and towels. Pillows are available on site, as well as dish linens and hand towels. We offer a breakdown service on request. In winter, a 4x4 vehicle is essential to have access to the chalet at all times (November to mid-April). The way up is often icy and snow removal is only done once a day. Parking at the cottage varies seasonally, THREE in summer and TWO in winter. It is not possible to park on the street. The capacity of the cottage is 4 adults at all times (including outside). The cottage is not suitable for children. Guests are not allowed during your stay. The times are as follows: Check-in: anytime after 4 PM Checkout: no later than 12 p.m. Possibility of early check-in or late check-out (upon request) Wood for fireplaces (inside and outside) is available on site, the first bin is included in the rental, then $10/additional bin (responsible consumption). The BBQ is unavailable in winter. Cleaning fees include the usual SPA maintenance costs. In the event of misuse of the HOT TUB that would require multiple interventions or emptying of the HOT TUB, an additional fee may be requested. No animals are allowed (even if small and nice) to avoid allergies and other reasons. There's no dryer or dishwasher. There is a laundry washer available from May to November, with drying on the clothesline. For long-term rental, add a mini washer and dryer. Long-term rental (qq months or annual): is available upon request. The price varies according to the period ($$ in summer). Our cottage is mostly booked by a couple. Located in a beautiful area, close to nature, the neighborhood usually very quiet. We live nearby, we will be happy to help you during your stay or give you more information about the region according to your choice of activities. Guest access You will have access to the entire chalet, as well as the large partially wooded lot (12,000 sq. ft.). You can also enjoy semi-private access to Lake Brompton. This access is located 160 meters from the chalet (1-2 minutes walk). It is a pleasant space to have a picnic, go swimming and put the two kayaks that will be available during your stay in the water. Other things to note Our chalet is highly appreciated by our tenants. We love to host tenants from all over the world. This allows us to travel while staying at home.
