Popular points of interest are easily accessible by foot, bike, bus, subway, uber, lyft or taxi. The space Mimi's Place is newly renovated, tastefully appointed, and fully loaded and sleeps up to four comfortably. This classic DC english basement apartment is a completely separate unit and guests will have the entire space to themselves. Use of the cozy front and expansive rear patios is included. Guest access Guests have the entire apartment to themselves, a completely separate unit with separate entrances front and rear. The landscaped front yard includes an attractive cobblestone patio with a 4-top bistro for guests to enjoy. The expansive rear patio is also available for guests to enjoy. Relaxed gatherings of friends and family are permitted with advanced notice to confirm availability. Other things to note The exceptional convenience of the location means you probably won't need a car. But if you are traveling with a vehicle, there are several parking options. 1) Street parking is available. Upon request a "guest parking permit" will be provided which gives guests the same neighborhood parking privileges as residents. The permit MUST be returned at the end of the stay. The fee for lost or stolen permits is $100. For convenience, a copy of the street parking signage will be available in the unit for review. 2) Off-street parking in the rear may be available with enough notice for a reasonable additional charge. 3) Garage parking options are available in the immediate vicinity at "Central Parking" or "Giant Food" garages both within a 5 minute walk from Mimi's Place. The street parking option with the guest permit has been by far the most popular and affordable option (FREE).
