The Kaaterskill Cottage - views of Hunter Mtn!

Enjoy the serene environment of the Catskills from our recently renovated 1910 cottage. Our home offers privacy, comfort, and convenience in a prime location for anyone looking to explore. We are located less than a half mile to Kaaterskill Falls, and nearby to great hiking and skiing destinations. Our space has been set up with love and attention to detail, comfortably sleeps 6 adults and is family friendly. We welcome you to our cozy cottage in the mountains - make yourself at home! The space Our space has been revived to its former beauty, with original wood work and charm restored throughout. The cottage is a dedicated vacation home with charming Mid-Century decor, boho flare and modern amenities. Our living room window nook offers a beautiful view of Hunter Mountain, and our back yard is lined with trees as far as the eye can see. The master suite has an attached shared bathroom with a private water closet (toilet room). It also has a private side entrance and balcony. We are a 10 minute drive to Hunter Mountain, and around the corner from Kaaterskill Falls. North-South Lake is less than a mile from our home, and offers some of the area’s best hiking spots. It’s truly a prime location for anyone looking for adventure or relaxation. You can expect comfort, cleanliness, and sophistication in an atmosphere that feels like home. We offer high speed internet, a Bluetooth sound bar, a Netflix account for TV entertainment in the living room and master bedroom. We also have seasonal window air conditioning units in all bedrooms, and one in the common space. *Please note that AC units are not installed until mid/late June. The mountains still have very cold nights, often requiring the heat to be used. Please open the windows and let the fresh breeze in to naturally keep the house comfortable. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom to help circulate cool air also. Please inquire for details. Other things to note *We have the highest residential WiFi speeds offered in our area. For guests who want to work from home, the WiFi is more than sufficient. I work from home full time on multiple platforms with the same internet package and have no issues. *The service fee for reservations is NOT set by us. This is a charge by Airbnb, paid exclusively to Airbnb, not to us as hosts. We are also charged a service fee for every booking.
