MeriKoivula, Villa Holm close to the sea, sauna

The Fishing and Holiday Village Merikoivula is located in the Finnish Archipelago, in the beautiful forest of Lokalahti, right on the shore of the bay. It is 230 km from Helsinki by car, 65 km from Turku and 16 km from Uusikaupunki or 7 km by boat by sea. We also have small cottages, on-demand coast saunas, rental boats, harbor and ramp, playgrounds and ball courts, two tennis courts, meeting and banquet facilities. When you arrive, you will see a Village map helping you to find your cottage. The space Welcome to the Finnish Archipelago! Cottage with sauna Villa Holm is a cozy log house from 1985 with all amenities, renovated in 2021 and located in about 100 m from the sea. The house has 1.5 floors. Both the ground floor and the second floor have two bedrooms, with a total of up to 8 beds. Bed linen, towels, post-stay cleanup and one bag of charcoal are included in accommodation price. In the living room with an open kitchen, you can enjoy the wonderful sea view from the window. At your disposal is a modern kitchen with high-quality kitchen equipment and tableware. The kitchen has an electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, all kitchen utensils, kettle and a fully automatic Jura coffee machine. There is also local digital TV and the internet. It is very nice to spend time on the terrace of the villa, to enjoy the sea view while just relaxing or grilling. But not just grilling, but on fantastic ceramic Kamado Joe (read the user tips) and there are two complimentary bags of charcoal. The villa has a shower room and two toilets, as well as a drying cabinet for drying clothes. You can relax in the 90-degree sauna, where the HUUM electric heater offers a significant sauna experience that combines a thousand-year-old tradition with modern Nordic design. This cottage with sauna is available all year round. The heat source is an air-to-air heat pump. Guest access There are many things to do in Finland! It can be just having sauna and fishing, but in Merikoivula we have also created good opportunities for sports. We have two freshly Set & Match acrylic-coated tennis courts surrounded by a fence. In addition, a football and volleyball court, children’s playgrounds, and a power court. In the shed on the edge of the playgrounds, you will find everything you need – tennis rackets, various balls, and other sports equipment. Use of the playgrounds and equipment is free for guests of the Holiday Village, we just ask you to return everything back to it’s place. Other things to note The nearest grocery store is located in the center of Lokalahti, K-Market Lokalahti. The accommodation rules and user manuals can be found on the walls and in the information folder. Please note that the post-stay cleaning service does not include washing dishes and taking the garbage out to our recycling station.
