Circa 1840s house & great views of Lake Champlain

PLEASE READ: We have cameras at the front and back of the house simply to monitor the safety of our home and number of booked guests that check-in. The space We do NOT accept requests from guests without reviews by Airbnb hosts for previous stays. We need to get an idea of the type of guest you are so we are comfortable renting to you. Our house is nicely decorated with comfy furniture and beds for a relaxing stay. Fully equipped kitchen with a professional stove for those who like to cook. Amtrak and freight trains roll through Port Henry day and night so you will hear them. There is also a catholic church in town that chimes on the hour from 8am-6pm daily. Guest access The entire house is open to guests. Other things to note No smoking or vaping in house. No pets. The house does not have central air conditioning but we do have portable units that guests can use. It is typically cool in the evenings and every room has a fan. The lake side porch has 3 ceiling fans. Confirmed guests only. Please be advised there is a security camera located on the property and we monitor guest numbers. The presence of unconfirmed guests will result in immediate cancellation by Airbnb and termination of your stay. Contact us and we can share restaurant options in the area.
