The "Church" Guesthouse

Come to church this weekend . . . The Church Guesthouse in Cottonwood Falls that is! The Church is an artfully revitalized Presbyterian Church built in 1885 which now has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths and will sleep up to 10 adults. Two of the bedrooms ( with queen beds) are downstairs along with a bath and a half downstairs. 2 bedrooms are upstairs (two twins and one with a full size bed) the loft has two twins with a full bath upstairs. Parties and events are not allowed. The "Church" started out as a Presbyterian church in 1885. Used as many things throughout its history it was converted to a home in 2005. It is a wonderful open space that accommodates 10 for sleeping . Guests have access to the whole building which includes the kitchen and two living areas as well as a large deck with two grills and a table. When the guests estimate that they are 20 to 30 minutes away we ask that they call us so that we can go unlock the property. If they end up coming in later than anticipated,they can just let us know. We can leave the property unlocked so that in the event they arrive before we do, they can go ahead and start setting up shop and begin enjoying their time at The Lark Inn. The Church is literally just steps from the historic Chase County Courthouse which is situated at the end of the quaint, brick-paved historic shopping district of Cottonwood Falls. At sunset, you can see the golden sunlight illuminating the clock tower and flag of the Courthouse from the front porch of The Church. The property is appointed with a large open kitchen which includes a gas oven and stove, microwave, ice maker in addition to a large side by side fridge. The downstairs bedrooms have queen size beds, one of the upstairs bedrooms has a full-size bed and the other bedroom has a twin and a trundle bed. Large bathrooms with a shower downstairs as well as a half bath ; the upstairs bath has a tub/shower. Guest access The entire house Other things to note The back deck is great for gathering and you can step from the kitchen onto the back deck for eating in the wonderful peaceful surroundings. It has two charcoal grills on the back porch. We have a designated area for working with a desk and a computer monitor. no events or parties please
